Mel Brooks Classic Comedy Hits Broadway

Mel Brooks first hit it big on Broadway when he revitalized his hit movie, The Producers into a smash-hit musical, which became a broadway classic loved all over the world. Mel brought another musical to life with one of his greatest movie hits of all time, Young Frankenstein. This show brought together the same team that created The Producers. Young Frankenstein debuted in 2007 and has proven to be another feather in the cap of the comic genius.

Mel Brooks followed the screenplay from the movie closely, and it has been told that the Irving Berlin estate gave Brooks the thumbs up to use the song Puttin' on the Ritz in the show. This is definitely one of the must-see shows on Broadway today.
